This past June, Surfrider Foundation Europe and Good Karma Projects embarked on a 10-day scientific expedition between Tarragona and the Balearic Islands, confirming that pollution by plastic pellets in the Mediterranean is general and alarming, and that solutions are necessary.
Today we publish this video to make visible the impact of pellets in the Mediterranean and raise awareness of the seriousness of the problem. At the same time, we urge the authorities to take measures to regularize the contamination by plastic pellets and end this problem of more than 40 years.
