On 11 June 2022, to celebrate Oceans Day, in collaboration with Club Nàutic Salou and Niko’s Beach, a total of 80 people joined in the aquatic clean-up at Playa Larga in Salou and the paddle surf and kayak race. Sup Challenge Costa Daurada.
The volunteers who participated in the beach clean-up, some of them did it underwater with snorkel or paddle surf equipment, and others did it on the beach.
In just one and a half hour, 110 litres of waste were collected from the beach and the sea.
After the collection we did the weighing and classification of the waste with the help of the participants, and finally we closed the event with a vermut at Niko’s Beach to celebrate the day of the oceans.

This ocean day was not a beach clean-up, it was a day to raise awareness and take action.
