Right after the Beach Clean Up Day that we organised in Salou, Marga, teacher of Santa Maria del Mar school, contacted us for the first time. Marga wanted to see if we would like to go to the school and talk with the students. This was way back in April 2018, since then we’ve visited the school four times!
It’s impossible to say no to someone like Marga, she knows she has the key to protecting the future, the students. As a teacher she is introducing environmental education to her students and she’s fighting to implement it in the school.
This initiative is part of our project ‘Kids For the Future‘, from where we try to create experiences for kids that will spur their appreciation, respect and understanding for the environment, the planet and a healthier lifestyle.
We believe that working with schools and offering them the opportunity to let kids learn about nature, in nature, is a good start. And ask kids, what is better than a School Beach Clean Up Day!?
