We close a great weekend of clean ups

Limpieza de playa
Last weekend August 14 and 15 a total of 87 people were part of the #cleanupwithgoodkarma movement. There were 5 clean ups distributed throughout the country, from Galicia to Catalonia.

This initiative aims that all people take action, that is, that each person feels part of Good Karma Projects and raise awareness among their circle of friends and family. In this last clean up we have seen reflected the number of people who decide to take care of the planet, especially among the youngest, so we are very happy and grateful.

A total of 67800 km traveled through Tarragona (Catalonia), Castelldefels (Catalonia), Valls (Catalonia), Caraballo (Galicia), Los Silos (Tenerife), Cozumel (Mexico) and Salou (Catalonia).

Of the 994 liters of general waste collected in our natural environments, 41.6% was packaging, 22.9% other waste, 24% paper and cardboard. In terms of specific waste, 42.1% is cigarette butts, 26.3% is porexpan, 22.8% is caps and plates and 7.0% is fishing nets.

With Good Karma Projects we also organized a clean up in collaboration with Art surf camp and The bamboo movement

From Good Karma Projects we give a lot of importance to the network of organizations, that’s why we decided to shake hands and make one of the clean up organized in collaboration, in order to meet many more people who are aware of the impact we cause on the environment every day.

Many thanks to all of you who make it possible for the #cleanupwithgoodkarma movement not to stop!
